As you consider your Capstone Project, remember that when designing and developing your plan, HOW you measure success is one of the most important facets of planning to consider. Toward that end, please identify key milestones that you expect to achieve, monitor and track to measure success and Post on the Discussion Board.
Please also respond to below questions on the Discussion Board and be prepared to discuss in class.
• Will you change course during start-up or implementation based on what you learn? If so, in what ways?
I’m sure I’ll encounter challenges and/or new ideas so will need to pivot accordingly. Given this is something I haven’t tried before, it’s difficult to anticipate changes. I plan on attending webinars to also see what other organizations are doing so I can build on my current project. I am scheduled to attend a 3 part-session on October 19, 20 and 21.
• What will be your process for identifying key milestones?
Design of workshop - to include a balance between structure and ‘conversational’ session. Consider cap on sessions to allow engagement. If the waitlist is long, do we consider additional sessions of the same topic?
Researching who the teams and departments are – have a list. Having teams from across Fedcap volunteer to present.

I’ll be responsible for managing and tracking progress. Currently in the process of producing a project plan with dates / risk mitigation / key milestones.
• Are there any other strategies you will devise to ensure project success?
I think my communication strategy needs to be spot on to ensure we entice people to attend. Guidance and support from Lori and the engagement team will be critical.
