• Gain project buy-in from Senior Leadership Team, (SLT). Namely, Fedcap UK Marketing Department, Fedcap Employment Operations Director, Delivery Manager, Scotland.
• Establish a Project Team
• Build relationship with Fedcap UK Marketing Content Creator (pivotal new role and staff member that is not my direct report)
• Facilitate weekly project team meetings that include the content creator to keep project moving forward.
• Get innovative ideas and feedback from focus groups, meetings and collaborations with project team, SLT and Participants
• Creating New Content
• Seek feedback from focus groups
• Launch new content
• Monitor and measure engagement insights with new content
• Track service start conversion rates coming from new content
• Continuous cycle create/test/monitor/track new content success/failure
Will you change course during start-up or implementation based on what you learn? If so, in what ways?
I will need the ability to flex my project should any unplanned risks present themselves. Perhaps there will be red flags that are escalated that will change the course of the project. Conversely, perhaps successful content might be identified that could be utilised elsewhere in the business.
What will be your process for identifying key milestones?
Firstly, understanding what current performance looks like both internally and externally. Are there any trends? Concerns? Opportunities?
Secondly, identify one geographical area within my sphere of influence that I can use as my project test area. Thirdly, set realistic but challenging milestones that can be measured effectively and accurately.
Understanding what journey, I need to go on during project implementation to get to the final desired results i.e. participant starts with Fedcap Scotland.
• Who will be responsible for tracking success or challenges with achieving these milestones? How often?
I will be monitoring daily social media insights from the local engagement team (those that manage the social media content). This will allow us to react at pace to any trends. I will formally track social media start numbers and rates at the end of each month.
• Are there any other strategies you will devise to ensure project success?
Continually, weekly innovation meetings as a platform to stay ahead of the competition. To support this, I will also do a monthly review of what our competitors are doing.
