What would you do and how would you integrate your learning from the LA in clear and obvious ways?
Utilize more of Oracle as a platform for learning and collaborating. We currently 'push' learning out to the organization and it's usually learning that is mandatory. I'd love to get to a place where people want to access Oracle because it's user-friendly, the learning is engaging/relevant and they have a place to collaborate.
Communication is key and trialing things with early adapters in our business. We've already started this. Also engaging with Oracle to be on top of their offerings, including Journeys, which is a snazzy learning journey platform.
Making the changes small - PDSAs. Using influential communication, across a range of platforms. A bulk of our workforce doesn't use emails as their means of communication, so we need to get 'innovative' on how we capture and communicate with that population. Also use our existing data to think critically and make decisions. For example, we know how many people have logged in to Oracle to take the training, how do work with the others. The ones who have accessed Oracle, what was their experience? what would get them to access their learning in Oracle regularly? Oracle has a collaboration platform, how can we best utilize this?
Within 12 months it would be awesome to utilize Journeys and have people self-enroll in a range of courses. Have an eLearn provider that offers engaging and relevant training. Start the learning journey from Recruitment and automate the compliance training. Also, utilize Oracle for blended learning (instructor led and self-paced). And have people access Oracle to collaborate ie; collaboration groups.
