Lesson 4: Putting it All Together—Your Articles!
Rather than having you read an article this week, we are asking you to create one! This week, we will be talking about the concept of creating a culture that upholds staff morale during good and during challenging times.
A. Write an article (no more than 500 words) that offers insight into the elements that you feel build and maintain staff morale. Be specific and give examples as appropriate. Please post your article on the Discussion Board.
B. Prepare for Class: Be prepared in class to share a four-minute MAXIMUM oral presentation that reflects your article and your approach to building and maintaining morale. Remember that you'll want your pitch to be succinct and clear so it will be memorable and applicable for your fellow Leadership Academy colleagues. Please include an opening statement that reflects your leadership brand and how it relates to creating a positive, can-do culture. And, reach out to your mentor for practice and conversation. Faculty will comment on the board on your written material, and you'll receive feedback in class on your short talk.
