I have a few Leadership development areas but the one I picked for my PDSA is to speak up if something is bothering me or if I need someone to do something for me. I know I can be accommodating, at times too much so. Over the last 2 weeks, I've had 2 separate instances where I did need something and tried to be more forthcoming. Both people responded promptly and were very good about it. This is something I'll continue to work on and be mindful of.
In my role, I still have instances that are time critical (such as training needing to be completed by a certain time). I'd like to expand my PDSA to ensuring people adhere to those deadlines. I recall Lorrie's bell shaped curve and my biggest struggle has always been those 16% 'laggards' who never come to the party.
