The Fedcap Group is proud to announce that we have been awarded a 4-year contract worth $20M to deliver veteran’s services in Florida. The grant is funded by a joint venture between the state of Florida and the Veteran’s Administration and will be a milestone- based payment contract.
Our success with administering the program will be measured by job retention, certificates received in high-growth sectors, and completion of wellness services. We are confident that our organization will meet the standards of our funder and plan on supporting 5000 veterans annually through education, employment, and family support services.
We anticipate employing 500 staff member and will partner with 30 community- based agencies throughout the state to aid in the delivery of services.
We are honored and excited to have been chosen to secure this grant and to expand our organization to Florida. Our mission is to promote healthy and financially independent families and feel that our individual based case management will help our participants reach their goals towards self-sufficiency.

What were the factors you considered while crafting your message?
I considered who I was talking to, who I was talking about, what are we talking about and why. How can I order the message to communicate most effectively?
Was it difficult to craft the message? Why or why not?
It wasn’t hard to craft a message because all the details were in the description, I pictured myself at a podium stating what I wrote. The hardest part was in which order to place the information.
What are the risks in a poorly crafted press release? What are the benefits of a well-crafted press release?
Poorly crafted press releases can make an organization look incompetent in their public relations and can also cause viewers to lose respect for an organization. A well-crafted press release will give a sense of transparency, accurate information, and will engage its audience.
