The Fedcap Group is a leading nonprofit that creates opportunities for individuals facing barriers to economic well-being.
The Fedcap Group partners with companies globally that share their mission and vision. They will be expanding their footprint to Florida by partnering with over 30 community-based agencies in hiring a workforce and delivering Veteran services.
The four year contract is valued at five million annually and funded through the state of Florida and the Veteran’s Administration. The Fedcap Group and their partners will be compensated based on achievements made by Veterans within educational certifications in high-growth areas, job security and retention, and wellness services for veterans and their families.

What are the facts given and what information is needed to convey the job, service and partnership opportunity
3. Was it difficult to craft the message? Why or why not?
Yes. I had to research how to compose a press release, not something I have done before. I tried to follow the Fedcap format when composing and made the decision not to include Dixon. I chose to keep it simple and to the point, although I questioned if I did not include enough information on Fedcap’s experience and global reach.
4. What are the risks in a poorly crafted press release? What are the benefits of a well-crafted press release?
Risks- misinformation, reputation risk, competition risk
Benefit- reputation benefit, more presence in unfamiliar markets, increase opportunities
